We can see them everywhere, anywhere, anytime, buzzing around in front of your face, landing on your food with millions of bacteria right on their feet, who wouldn't be annoyed with that?
Houseflies, as a general annoyance, a disease carrier, and a health hazard also had its own beneficial purposes in this world that we human often disregard.
1. CONSUMING DEAD ANIMALS AND ROTTEN WASTE.
3. FOOD FOR OTHER INSECTS AND ANIMALS AS WELL.
And some of these predators are the frog, the spider, and the lizard.
I know there are still other useful stuff for this poorly judge insect but for me, houseflies, somehow helps the environment from keeping it clean, I can only find one solution to keep this insect away from your sight, the answer is not the variety of insect replants or that sticky strap. You just need to keep your environment clean so that they won't do it for you, and if ever it's raining outside they would find a shelter to prevent them from getting wet so maybe they would hang-out for a while inside your house. HAHA!

Aaaaaaaatchup!
They do have functions in nature that we always see but never appreciate and these are:
1. CONSUMING DEAD ANIMALS AND ROTTEN WASTE.
Just imagine if you see a dead rat after your cat tortured it last night do you think you can still cook it and eat it afterward? And when it happens that you see a small-like-white-worm with a nasty look including a bonus pack of disgusting smell, that is what we called maggots (baby housefly) and they feed themselves with dead tissues from a dead body either from a rotten waste. Lately, they have discovered that these maggots can be useful in medical treatment in removing foreign matter and dead tissues from a wound because maggots only eats up the dead old tissues leaving the healthy tissues behind. Nice.
2. THEY ARE AN EFFECTIVE POLLINATOR.
Pollination, in the other way around is like the sperm of a male transfered into a certain plants enabling fertilization and reproduction process. Bow.
3. FOOD FOR OTHER INSECTS AND ANIMALS AS WELL.
And some of these predators are the frog, the spider, and the lizard.
