When I think of the word "school" what goes first in my head are the things like homeworks, notes to study, overnight project, and early morning wake-ups etc. And now that I stop for a while I compared my self from the time that I went to school and in my status right now. There a lot of differences but what really caught my attention are the feelings and experiences when I went to college. Somehow, in the other way around there are occurrence that we usually ignore or didn't appreciate much as they can be normally done. From my own experience if I didn't went to school;
-I wouldn't experience how to be freaking nervous when my teacher calls me for a board work or in recitation.
I'm a kind of reluctant type person, though I know the answer I'm so hesitant to raise my hand and when my name is being called I got easily mental blocked which really made me look like a fool standing in class waiting for the other to answer the question until my teacher will tell me "ok, repeat the answer" deym! But sometimes I got no answer that's why I'm both nervous with "I know" and "I don't know" I lack the confidence, pathetic me.
-I wouldn't experience how to be super happy when it has announced that there will be no class.
I always wish that my teacher wouldn't come, specially when it happens that they are super strict, but most of the time my reason is -- I don't have an assignment, I didn't study for the surprise quiz (that's why it's surprise), I forgot my project or didn't made it. But then I realized that it's kinda boring when I don't have class, from the previous year I have vacant time for 3-5 hours staying in the lobby or in the computer lab or in the library but reading books really made me drowsy, just imagine the atmosphere inside the library, who wouldn't like to take a nap? But why didn't I think of having a "seat in" from the other class? Because... just read the 2nd paragraph.
-I wouldn't understand what is cheating.
I don't usually cheat in the class since in elementary to high school that's why I got the average grade of 76 when I graduated from HS. I made "kodigo" (cheat sheet) but sometimes I forgot or afraid to look at it I realized that it's my fault that's why I can't answer the question. But in college it's not easy to be alone, there are times that I have to rely from other's knowledge if I were to survive, this is when I started to cheat (LOL!) though I only copy paste the answer I still have to understand its content but of course only if the host (host? does it mean I'm a parasite? hahaha!) would spare me some time to explain "her" work (her -- because there's only one person that I always run into) so thank you so much for helping me out Mia Marchet Rama Rabanal.
These are just few of my experiences, fun-facts as they are and maybe irrelevant for somebody else. We have different views, different understanding but do you think this can be accepted as one of the reasons why an individual must go to school? Guess no or maybe yes. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
