Da Best Ang Akong PaPa

Tittle description: "Da Best Ang Akong Papa" is a Bisaya-English phrase which means "My Father is the best" -- inspired from my t-shirt with the same written words except for Papa because it's actually Mama.

Today is every father in this world awaits because it's Father's day. Others might thought that it's already done don't confuse yourself because Father's day is being celebrated every 3rd Sunday of the month of June so as to say it doesn't have an exact date when will it occur by next year and next next year and... So, days before that I am suppose to create this post I was already thinking of what will I tell the world about my father.

Hmmm.... Well, until now I didn't came up to a good idea but I think I'm just gonna describe my father behind these following words.

MY FATHER AS A SON: He was a stubborn child in his time, he often tell us stories about him specially when we came pass to a place where he used to go before. During his bachelor years he already got a lot of vices, drinking (alcoholic drinks to be specific), smoking cigarettes, girls, weeds and a like. He said he was suppose to take up engineering course but because of his obstinacy he got failed in school until his late father who was a contractor on a construction firm decided not to let him enroll again, from there he entered the world of construction having thought in mind that it is the only way to save his future (nice one pa). Not because his father got a high rank in the company it doesn't mean that he will be given an instant high positioned job, like any other newbie he started as a laborer - a helper - a steel man - a masonry - a carpenter - until he became a lead-man and when he learned how to read the blue prints, finally he became a contractor himself but of course with great perseverance and patient with ability and skills plus the PR (public relation) which he's really proud of with a bottle of beer.

MY FATHER AS A FATHER: Well, he's been a great father to us although there are times that things go wrong until it became confusing which will ignite the arguement but thank God it didn't end up in a bad quarrel. My mom changed him SOOO BIG that he let go of his vices and bad traits, just recently when he finally quit smoking and dramatically reduces his womanizing but beer is always there, we even declared that every Saturday that is payday is his birthday LOLZ! I know he loves us so much, we know we love our family very much but we're not the type of showing our affection and unconditional love with each other, we just let this secret link keeping us connected as a family with tender loving care.

Actually right now, before I started this post around 11pm of June 18, 2011 that is Saturday my father went outside with some of his workers like it's a boys night out but it's the usual thing he always do every Saturday night and we are so used to it coz no matter how we stop him he would still want to follow his will. However, I'll just pray that he's safe along with his companions. Amen.
