All animals were God’s little helper, domesticated or wild, they can be found anywhere else wherever you go, from small little insects to gigantic mammals, they may be separated by category but they are all part of one BIG kingdom, the ANIMAL KINGDOM!
Some of us may disregard the usefulness of other animals; for example an insect like a Cockroach, did you know that a crushed cockroach can be applied to a stinging wound to help relieve the pain? For sure a lot of us would say “NO” and “EW! I would never try that!” another example is a Flies, their babies or the so-called “Maggot” can be use to clean up dead cell tissues in an open wound to make it heal fast, a Fly also contributes to pollination like Butterflies and Bats and other pollinating animals do, and the wonderful thing about this is they done it unintentionally which means they had their own purpose!
Those are just few examples of their significance in this world and in our life. Some of them may be dangerous the fact that they can be a disease carrier or maybe it has another purpose why such a living species would bring death upon the others, like they are God’s little helper? (“HORAS MO NA”).
Some animals like a Cat, a misunderstood to be called as a thief, would sneak our food on the table, I mean we humans get hungry and we need food to survive, if we have to preserve life and animals also have life then what makes us different from them? We may dominate on the surface of this world yet we are so mean to deny the fact that they also have the rights to live; it’s just sometimes we are being so dumb to let that food on the table unprotected (just like what they did to my food yesterday).
Anyhow, we are still blessed that God gave us tamable animals, animals that are friendly, animals that would never miss to greet us whenever we came home, animals like a Dog, a Cat, a Bird, or even a Pig! We call them our very own “Pets” for me they are my stress reliever, they are my playmate, my models for pictorials, the one that I could talk to, the one that I could cuddle with. I so love my pets and all the animals as well, small or big, wild or domesticated, my own or from my neighbors. Each time I saw an animal on the street suffering from the cruelty of this world I just pray to God and ask Him to take care of them, if I could just afford to adopt them all I would really love to.
Right now my pets or our pets perhaps, are Shubar, our dog, Meekon, our cat, his Wife and their three kittens, Meow, another kitten adopted by my mom when she finds out that she’s about to be thrown away, B1, our land turtle actually there are two them that’s why he’s named B1 because there’s B2 but B2 was gone or maybe stolen, and our three fishes. I’m happy to take care of them all I know God gave them to us to take responsibility of the life He created.
I really don’t have a good idea how to end my post, so I think that would be all, thank you for having some time to read!
PS: This post was inspired by our neighbor’s dog, Lassy, she’s now very old and the owner of which already expected that she’ll die very soon. May you rest in peace Lassy, your owner must be very thankful of your service and please say my “hello” to my dogs up their! We all be seeing in a little while.

ReplyDeleteI remember my dogs Beauty and Kikat and my cat Muning. They all passed away. Beauty and Muning died of old age while Kikay died because she got sick.
ReplyDeleteSince then I never tried getting another pet, because I become sad where it's time for them to go.
btw, you have so many pets. I remember the cat you took for a shelter before.
ReplyDelete@Sey yeah, and that kitten eventually died :/ but it's ok coz all animals go to heaven ;3
