I was transferring my books and notes to my mini bookshelf that I worked so hard these past few days (and when I realize I’m not a good carpenter). While I’m sorting some stuff I suddenly saw my notebook where I wrote all of my composed poems a few years ago. Well, I’m not so excited about it since I made it by my own but still I got to have a review just for the thought that I wanted to know what did I written years ago. There I read poems for my friends, important people, and unforgettable moments in my life and that’s when I noticed that I can’t do such dozens of poem if I ain’t inspired by something or someone; something that I dedicated to and someone that my heart desire. Then I tried to recall if I have ever written a poem for no apparent reason, I mean without being inspired, but the answer would be “no” well I guess we can’t make things done if we aren’t inspired, right? However, there’s one funny thing I’ve discovered and that is even before I’m already a fan of doing a rhymed poem and there are even unnecessary words I’ve inserted to some of it just to follow the rhyme, i.e. “bo hoo” or “hahahaha” or “oh yeah” and in fact until now (Lolz!). Yet it is sad to know that this talent I had though it’s not so good has slowly rusted and will be over and done anytime soon so right now I’m trying to recover this in my self. At this time I’m composing new set of poems dedicated to the newest important people of my life and the old one as well. By this I’m keeping a record of the wonderful things happened in my life. Time fly so fast and it may left my memories behind but I believe my poems will always take me back to where they are.
This inspires me to compose a poem for a special friend entitled “Worth Remembering” and now I’m currently working two poems dedicated to my best friend (I was planning to give it as a present on his upcoming birthday this August 9) and a good friend of my mine that I met when I was in college.
PS: I know the title for this post is kinda weird but I took it from the note book itself. Haha!
