Worth Remembering

It was in early freezing Monday morning

When I saw you at the corner, you were eating

Your face is new so I started starring

But then you caught me and you were just smiling

You call me with my name it was so surprising

“How did you know me?” that’s what I’m asking

You said we’ve met before it seems so confusing

I knew it I recognize you it’s just my memory is failing

Day by day while we were working

We never miss talking a way of our bonding

There was even time when we were caught resting

I felt nervous but you were just laughing

I don’t know why you are kind in spite of something

Your traits towards me has started poisoning

Are you a bandit? Or whatever you are planning

I made my self ready of what will be happening

We became bedmates that’s kinda intriguing

I made my self cool although it’s unnerving

But I was wrong with what I’m expecting

I didn’t know you just want some bedtime talking

We always had talk almost every night before sleeping

Though it’s a tiring day our conversation can somehow be relieving

You tell me your life stories you tell me almost everything

We shared each others’ laughter we went to sleep smiling

It’s just sad to know that everything has its ending

Everything can vanished like a bubble bursting

But there’s only one thing that I always reminiscing

You're my best good friend and you are worth remembering

ang sweet naman nito... yung mga unang lines, nakarelate ako,kilig moments yun mga kwentuhan na parang walang katapusan....
pero lahat ata may ending, sana happy ang sa akin.. :)

It's a well constructed poem with great substance. I am wondering who she/he is.! Sweet, those are the kind of moments I don't want to end.

The "end" can also be considered a "beginning".. a new chapter.. a new experience.

Though that person may not be present in your life today, okay lang yan. It's the circle-of-life kind of thing.. With the memories you've made together, he will be always be a part of your life, forever.. :)

@Sey We can only say we don't want them to end, but that is "only." I'm happy though or blessed perhaps for meeting such wonderful person like him, he's a type of person that you can't just find somewhere else around the corner. And I'm glad you're back! I always keep my self updated for your posts.

@Leah True that the end could be a start of a new beginning, maybe it has already started or maybe not, he's like one in a million.
