Dream Log: November 10, 2016

I was in a dark and frigid room holding a flashlight (my only source of light) while trying to get a view of my surroundings. When I happened to point it on the wall there’s a shadow of man, a side view of his face. Trying to recognize, soon I realized it’s actually me! When I came closer, suddenly I’ve heard a water flowing to my side. Following the source of the sound, there I saw a broken faucet. I can’t remember if it can be fixed I just found myself trying to repair it. While fixing it, a wall clock just dropped right beside me! It scares the hell out! Because I’m busy doing the repair, I just lean it on the wall to put it back later where it used to hang when I’m done. What happened next was disturbing! The wall clock just fell back as if it was pushed from behind, that moment then, I knew this was somekind of a horror movie where I’m trapped in a room waiting to be taken by demons, I’m helpless and asked myself “what have I done wrong?”

Waiting for the end of my existence, one of my couzins came into the room from the door on my right and I was like "WTF! Was that door has been there the whole time?" He called me out to join him in the room where he’s at. As I stepped into the room, I was brought back to the old ancestral house of my grandparents in the province of Surigao del Sur.

I so miss that feeling when I’m inside that house. Memories were rapidly coming back like a rushing steam in the river after the heavy rain. The joy and laughter we all shared even when during the time when electricity wasn’t available yet, we would gather around in a single lamp talking about horrors and anything in particular. We sleep altogether on the floor. We play hide and seek and anything fun. That house was huge that it can accommodate our big family one at a time. However, it was modified because the materials were getting rust and worn off overtime. From how big it was it became so small that if I walk inside I should watch for my head or else I’ll get“bukol” all over. Unfortunately, during typhoon Pablo the house was completely destroyed. As in completely destroyed with no hope of restoring it back. Now back to my dream log.
So there, my couzin took me to another room. To my surprise it holds a massive amount of pastries all over! (I actually found my favorite that I ate some secretly in the corner). Soon after, the rain poured out and we have to salvage everything in it ‘coz the roof have holes and it can spoil those heavenly sweets. After we’re done, my favorite got lost, I don’t know who took it but I’m so furious that I’m on another place!

This time, I’m on the corner of our street, from Surigao del Sur to Davao City. There’s a bed right below the lamp post with two strangers standing on the side. The sky was so blue, the wind was so fresh, and the clouds were so fluffy that there’s this car-shaped-cloud heading toward us. I was like a kid jumping around (LOL!) and when it crashed to me it was so cold then disappear. Then a bizarre sound of trumpets echoed all over the place and everything was turning dusky. When I looked above there was a message saying “THIS IS A TEST” like in an LED display, scrolling to the right which appeared to everywhere. I assumed it was the hackers knowing the potential that they could’ve granted access to H.A.A.R.P technology (google it!). On the other street, people were starting to gather up and I thought they knew what’s happening so I went there to see for myself. Later on, there was an announcement on TV that we’re under attack and unexpectedly a gust of wind was blowing very swiftly in front of me, with that speed that I could actually get blown away but I didn’t. I can’t move and it seems like I’m the only person on the middle of the street while the rest were on both sides. From afar I can see a jaguar made of air (it took an appearance from the dust like in tornado—perhaps) speeding towards me then bit my left hand. I tried shake it off the best as I could until it went behind and for oddness sake it was hit by passing car and disappeared.

It was already night and the rain poured again, I ran back to the bed at the corner of our street but it was too late, it was soaking wet. The two strangers were gone. I don’t know where they went but I don’t feel the slightest chance of a sympathy for them.

Then I woke up at 10 o'clock in the morning…
