2nd day
Yesterday, my nephew brought a days-old kitten in our house! DAMN! I don't wanna throw it away like everybody else does, he said he found it lying on the ground to their way home from school. I can still remember the last time when he brought a kitten but sooner died and it really break my heart, I buried that kitten beside the vacant lot of our house. Kids don't know how to take care of it they don't know how hard it was. And now he did it again! The kitten was so wet and meowing so hard that I don't know if he need his mom, if he need food, or if he need to get dry, but I think he needs them all. So I first grab my sister's hair blower, set it to low, point it to him but not so near coz it'll be so hot for his thin skin, now I'm done of making him dry then I took a basket case, put some unused clothes in it, and put him inside. Then I searched the internet of how to take care an orphaned kitten OH MY! they are not allowed to drink COW's milk! But there is a special milk-formulation just for kitten which can be sold from a vet. HOLY MOTHER OF MILK! I have to feed the kitten 8 times a day for 5 to 8 weeks! Therefore if I buy that special milk-formulation and the duration of this feeding process will last for at least 5 weeks I'm gonna spend millions! (just exaggerating). But I didn't give up, I don't want to give up! I keep on searching if I can find some alternatives for this, then I found out that goat's milk is possible but I think it's too risky! Finally I came to this evaporated milk, 50% of evaporated milk and 50% of water, sounds good right? Evaporated milk is available in stores so I chose this one and I started feeding my kitten since yesterday. It says if the feces is wet you must stop giving your kitten that kind of milk coz it'll cause him diarrhea, but if it's solid then it's good. Luckily this morning I saw his feces was dry and solid HORAY! I hope and I pray to God that this kitten will survive for the next 5 weeks, I don't have the necessary items to take care of this kitten, but if ever he survived, I will name him SURVIVOR. Right now I don't wanna give him name coz if God choose to take care of him instead of me I'm not gonna mourn and think of his name, I'll be happy though but you can't help it if someone you love will go to a place where there's no turning back, only memories will do. And so please help me God.

His milk, about 1 liter mixed with 50%
evaporated milk and 50% of water.
And syringe with a cotton bud, alternative
for feeding-bottle. I can't afford to buy one
specially made for kittens.

    I didn't know Cow's milk isn't allowed for kittens. I thought any kind of milk will do. Thanks for the information. That little kitten is so lucky.

    btw, I love that alternative feeding bottle! hehe.

    @sarah Sana ganuna na kalaki nung nakita ko tong kuting na to, ang hirap kasi alagaan pag under 1 week old palang.

    @sey Any kinds of milk will do for a cat, but not while they are still a kitten. I

    I'll try to go to pet store tomorrow to see if i can buy this feeding bottle thing and if I can afford it. It's too messy when I feed him that way.

    Actually I put him at the back of the fridge, coz I don't know this heating pad thingy so I just rely on the generator that produces the heat.

    ang cute naman ng kuting...hehehe sana nga makasurvive sya...will wait for your updates...we also have a puppy right now and man ang gastos talaga nila hahaha dapat dog food lang ang ipakain, may sariling suklay, sabon, shampoo etc

    @nash I pray for it nash, sana nga maka survive sya. So far, 3 days na sya sakin. Ok lang kahit mahirap basta maka survive lang. :D

    @sarah Tumpak! minsan nga nag aalala ako kc nag mamiao sya pero pag papakainin ko nman parang ayaw. Tapos ilang araw na syang di tumatae siguro isang beses ko lang syang nakitang tumae, pero parati syang umiihi an hour or minutes after feeding.
